It’s nearly always a pleasure to take photographs of children. I say nearly because I can only think of one child I really found difficult to work with! Usually if we make the session fun, include them in decisions about where to be photographed and make sure there’s lots of time to play during the session all is well. My top tips are to let them choose the location - if they are having fun they are more likely to cooperate, get up close and personal, kneel down so you are right at their level and don’t be afraid to zoom in close and fill the frame. Let them see the images on the back of the camera. Children love this, sometimes I even let them take a photo. I get to photograph some incredibly photogenic children and the two below are no exception!
